Alia Janine was a popular adult entertainment performer for nearly ten years, but during this time, Alia also dabbled in the mainstream side of entertainment where she was found in featured films, cable movies and comedy sketches.
Alia retired from adult entertainment in 2013 and subsequently moved to New York to pursue a career in comedy. She has since performed at some of the city’s best comedy clubs including; The Stand, The Comedy Cellar, The UCB Theater East, Stand Up NY, and Gotham Comedy Club.
Alia has delighted her fans by appearing on an array of Sirius XM shows, terrestrial radio, podcasts and websites. She hosts her own podcast, The Scatterbrains Podcast; where she covers everything from sex education to hard news, informative and funny interviews, to her take on today’s hot topics. Her podcast is a part of her podcast network, The Misfits Network, a company Alia started to help talented podcasters get noticed in a tough market. Furthermore, Alia produces her own live, comedy show, “Cut-Throat Comedy” at The Cutting Room, where you can find many of today’s top comedians performing.
In early 2015 Alia was nominated for an AVN (Adult Video News) award for Best Mainstream Performer of 2015.
