John Lane (@JohnLaneBdnk) is the Editor-in-Chief of www.badoink.com‘s new online magazine, which firmly places itself at the intersection of lifestyle, technology and sex, a place where John feels very comfortable indeed. Born and bred in Birmingham, in the UK, he has a healthy dislike of concepts such as imposed order, repressed expression – be it philosophical, sexual or whatever – and, of course, the monarchy, who he thinks should be released back into the forests to fend for themselves. A voracious reader from an early age, it was obvious he would end up a words man and BaDoink seems the right choice for his particular brand of subversion. Editorially, John models himself on the newspaper men of old, which is great as far as his love of good whisky goes, but not so cool when it comes to big fat cigars, which he thinks are gross.
